Digital Dispensary – Titan PMR Installation

Important Update: A New Digital Future for Our Dispensary

At The Orchard Partnership, we are always looking for ways to improve our service and prepare for the future of the NHS. This weekend, we are taking a major step forward by installing a new, state-of-the-art software system called Titan PMR.

What is happening this weekend?

This transition is a significant technical process. To ensure everything is set up correctly, our teams will be working hard over the weekend and into Monday to onboard the new system.

✅ Repeat requests submitted today, tomorrow, or over the weekend will not be actioned until Monday or Tuesday next week as we move onto the new system.

✅ We kindly ask that you allow an extra few days before enquiring about your prescription status.

✅ Our staff are under incredible pressure during this switchover. They are working exceptionally hard to maintain continuity of care, but the dispensary will be busier than usual.

Moving to a Digital First system

Once Titan PMR is live, we will be moving to a Digital First approach. This is an exciting development that aligns us with the wider goals of NHS England for a more integrated, efficient, and safer healthcare system.

📱 Your prescriptions will be electronic, with trackable tokens visible on your NHS App or SystmConnect login.

📱 When you collect your medication, you will sign for it on a digital device rather than using a paper slip.

📱 You will have better, real-time information about your prescriptions available at your fingertips.

While we are a Digital First surgery, we know that not everyone is familiar with digital processes or has easy access to the internet. If you absolutely need to continue using paper requests, we can adapt and support you. However, it is important to note that this is a Digital First system rather than a choice between the two.

How you can help us

We know that delays can be challenging and stressful, but we are asking for your extra patience and kindness toward our team during this time. They are doing their very best to manage this challenging technical shift while still providing the care you need.

🚑 Please continue to use the NHS App or SystmConnect to order your repeat prescriptions.

🚑 Priority will be given to acute medications to ensure those in urgent need are seen first.

🚑 Continuity of care will always be maintained, but please remember: short-term pain leads to long-term gain for our entire community.

Thank you for your continued support as we work to make our services more secure and streamlined.
